Hi, my name’s Rob. My father is a mortgage broker, which means that I grew up interacting with real estate from a young age. I was probably a little too young to be asking about refinances and foreclosures, but it helped me establish an early love for real estate. As much as I got excited by real estate, there was one thing that had a stronger spot in my heart: America. I’ve always been called to service, which is why I enlisted in the Navy years ago and have been happily serving since then.

I’m lucky enough to be in a profession that stationed me here in Hampton Roads years ago, and even more fortunate in that I can expect to spend the rest of my time here. I’ve begun to lay down roots and truly become a member of the community. Hampton Roads is my home.

Several years ago, someone I worked with was having a hard time helping their parents sell their house in Norfolk. Knowing that I was knowledgeable on the subject, she sought my help. To make a long story short, I saw a win-win solution and bought their house cash, providing a quick and painless process that allowed them to move into a new facility. And so, Uhlman Enterprises was born. Eventually I was told “That name stinks,” and changed it to something a little more direct: Uhlman Buys Homes.

I’ve been involved in my passion of real estate since then, working with clients to help find solutions to their problems. Foreclosure, divorce, disrepair, and more, I’ve handled it all, across all of Hampton Roads. I’ve built a strong network of contacts and partners that allow me to provide unparalleled service and offers when working with clients. Why do I do this? Besides enjoying myself and chasing my passion? I serve my country in my day job, and I serve my community with this business. Most importantly, though, is that I get to build something that will provide for and help to take care of my family.
